Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Acalanes Union High School District

As a dedicated community leader, a parent, a professional working with adolescents and children and currently as an actively involved second term school board member on the Lafayette School Board I am qualified for the Acalanes High School Governing Board. Experience in facility planning, budgets, staff development, negotiations and the ability to work with all interests in this community are part of my everyday life. I have expertise through participation on numerous district committees such as Technology, Advanced Placement, WASC review, Parent Club Board, Standards and Benchmarks and Legislation are only a few of my activities locally. As a spokesperson and advocate on behalf of all Lamorinda students I have met with each of our local legislative representatives. I know the community and have proven my willingness to spend my time to keep the district strong and stable. My commitment to follow through on behalf of all students in the Acalanes School District is demonstrated through my everyday involvement.
