A Livermore resident since 1965 and a Teacher for 35 years at different grade levels including Special Education, I served on curriculum committees to improve educational standards. Past President and Vice President of San Leandro Teacher's Association, involved in contractual negotiations. Actively participated in public relations with community and public education. Graduated from Chico State University, with BA in business Administration and Economics. In Ireland at the University College of Dublin, I studied Political Theory. I hold the following teaching credentials: General Secondary for Life, Special Secondary in Economics, Health Education, Exceptional Children with Disabilities and Adaptive Physical Education. I am married and have two grown children and two grandchildren.

If elected I would like to work with parents, community members and organizations to accommodate cultural and educational diversity for harmonious student growth in our schools and the community. All students are not created equal and we need to pay attention to their differences. I truly believe that we should offer an education for all our students and that makes me an advocate for a technical high school. I believe in exit exams at each grade level to measure the successes and failures of students and facility. I am a staunch believer to hold accountable both students and personnel who do not meet the required standards.

Our children need to be prepared for future challenges. Listening to parents, teachers, administrators and working together, we can provide them with the best educational resources possible.
