Political Philosophy for Arnold D. Engel

I strongly believe the best interest of the working families in this area are not being represented in Columbus! For too many years now the legislative records of this area's elected representatives in Columbus show a blatant disregard for the average working class family. From health care, to education, to workers compensation, to big money special interest groups the people of this district need a stronger voice. I am committed to running a strong campaign pointing out the inadequacies of this representation. No matter what your party affiliation (Democrat, Republican or Independent) I will support your best interest as the people of the 4th District. It's time we the people tell the big money special interest groups that we don't want them buying our politicians. I always thought being a politician was about serving your community and representing your constituents. Today we live in an age where the candidate that can raise the most money and out spend his opponent by the widest margin will most likely win. Before you vote for your next State Senator in the 4th District I ask that you to take a close look at who you are voting for. Look at the issues and most importantly look at the voting record of the incumbent. Then ask yourself who will do the best job of representing the people in the State Senate? |
