Generally speaking, I am an economic conservative and a social libertarian. I believe that less government is better, and that the government which governs best, governs least.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. A businesswoman and host of the cable television show Lady Liberty for four years, I'm not beholden to public officials and bureaucrats, but will serve common, everyday working people. Pols in Sacramento fear me, because they know I mean what I say and say what I mean.

Because prosperity is only possible when people are free to create and invest, I support significantly lower taxes and regulations on both your paycheck and your business. I would eliminate the minimum business tax, rollback sales taxes to 5% and cut the state income tax to 2%.

Because educating our children is the reponsibility of us all, not just public schools, I support Complete Choice in schools for parents and students, the right of parents to choose private and home schooling with their tax dollars, the breakup of the Los Angeles Unified School District, education tax credits, and the elimination of "social promotion".

Because the government should not cheat property owners out of their hard earned property I oppose Eminent Domain by government bodies and forced real estate sales at cut rate prices.

Because medical costs have been driven so high, and patients rights have been compromised, I support medical freedom, less intrusive FDA regulation, medical savings accounts, and the right of patients to sue their HMO's.

I support redistricting reform, campaign spending limits, and a None Of The Above provision to clean up our corrupt political system and bring real choices.

I support a negative income tax to replace our current inefficient welfare system.

I support the Second Amendment to the Constitution and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and encourage civil disobedience against bad gun laws. Because I do not want to see people defenseless against rapists, criminals, and hate mongers, I support a concealed carry permit law such as 31 states have. Gun laws should be aimed at criminals, not honest people. I oppose government gun confiscation schemes.

I believe in broad leeway for honest citizens to defend themselves and their families and their neighborhood by any means necessary.

I believe fomenting hatred and bigotry is wrong: accordingly, I OPPOSE Proposition 22, which is the "Jim Crow Law" of the modern era. Moreover, it is not the business of the state to define "family" and "marriage": those are rights best left to the individual.
