Support Proposition 22
I whole heatedly support Proposition 22. I think that California needs a definition of marriage, that fits the age old definition that has existed for hundreds of years. The family is the center of our society. The family is the way that we pass the values of our country and our community down from generation to generation. The Protection of Marriage Act, Proposition 22, is critical to the long-term stability of the family. Without it we could break down the family and ultimately break down our society. For that reason I think we need a definition of marriage and we need to define it now. The safest way to protect California's families is to define marriage through the initiative process, where every Californian has a voice. We need to define marriage as between one man and one woman for the protection of California's families and for the protection of California's children.
