Solving problems through free enterprise is the better way.By Carole BrowCandidate for State Senator; District 5 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Let's allow the market work to prevent urban sprawl, protect farmlands and our agricultural economy, alleviate traffic congestions, and make our communities better places to live. Let's get government out of the business of education by enabling private education to flourish and compete through excellence. When I say that government is the problem, not the solution, I am not disparaging government employees. They are hard working, public-spirited individuals. I know because I was one for 23 years. My point is that solving problems through free enterprise is the better way.
Let's allow the market do the work.
If I am elected, I will introduce legislation making Charter Schools universally available and instituting school vouchers to give parents real choice. I will work to abolish government intervention in education and--by abolishing taxes that pay for educational programs--ensure that individuals keep a larger share of their wealth to use for education of themselves and their children. I thank you for your vote. |
