A fourth generation native of Humboldt County, Walt was born in Eureka and grew up in Elk River. He and his wife, Becky, have been married 28 years and have two daughters, Sarah and Mary. As a teacher, businessperson, parent and community leader, Walt shares our values, concerns and hopes for the future. His independent spirit and practical experience offer us a fresh, new approach-old problems.
