John moved to Humboldt County 24 years ago.

John & his wife Gail live on Pine Hill with their two children, Tyler age 10 & Ashley age 9.

John is a self employed Certified Public Accountant. He started his business in 1983. The first month he billed out $25 & that was before expenses! Needless to say it was a struggle. Today his business is very successful. He employs four people at good wages.

In his business John deals with small business every day. He understands that small business is the backbone of the Humboldt County economy! His clients include Dairymen, Ranchers & Farmers, Grocery stores, Restaurants & Bars, Gift shops, Gas stations, Small mills, Auto shops, Care homes, Truckers, Motels, Doctors and Locksmiths. John understands and help small business expand and create new jobs every day!

John also represents small business's and individuals before many different government agencies every day. He has helped them with the IRS, FTB, Bd of Equalization, the EDD, County Assessors office, Board of Appeals, Bd of Supervisors, the Planning Dept, Dept of Agriculture, The Dept. of Consumer Affairs and many more. He has testified as a expert witness many times. If you elect him he will be able to put that expertise & experience to work for you at the County Courthouse!
