Political Philosophy for Philip M. "Phil" Erdman
Candidate for |
I believe in the Constitution of the United States. I believe all governments should be "of the people, by the people, and for the people." My focus and direction of this campaign has been about THE PEOPLE. As supervisor, or in any other capacity, one should never believe they are above the people, know more than the people, or are better than the people. Public service is an honor that is bestowed upon a candidate by THE PEOPLE. It shouldn't take piles of money to become elected, although piles of money are being spent by some. I have no obligations, financial or otherwise, to any group, union, big business, or special interest, which allows me to commit to ALL THE PEOPLE. I believe in trustworthiness, fairness, and respect toward all. I also believe in leadership that includes competency, honesty, personal accountability, and the pursuit of excellence. I believe that leadership should be by one's example. |
