Name: Kathryn Lorenz Address:1228 Restwood Drive, Loveland, OH 45140 The Lorenz family has lieved in Loveland cince 1982 and the Lorenz children completed their primary and secondary education in the Loveland Schools. Nicholas is now a senior at Xavier University and Victoria is a junior at Ohio University. Kathy graduated form high school in Downington, PA and received her BA from Ursinus College, PA, her MA from Colorado State University and her PhD from the University of Cincinnati. Academic coursework included French language and literature and secondary education. She has taught French at Colorado State University, Maiam (Ohio) University and the University of Cincinnati. She is currently Coordinator of the Basic French program at the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the Modern Language Association, the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages and the Ohio Foreign Language Association. In addition to having served as the Loveland School board member since 1991, Kathy has served for the past two years as the Loveland member of the Board of Directors of the Great Oaks Insititute of Technology. She was awarded the Ohio School Board Association Award of Achievement in 1993 and 1996. Kathy is the trustee of the Arts and Cultural Council of Greater Loveland and a member of the Board of Management of Northeast YMCA. She is the president of the Alliance francaise fo Cincinnati and a member of the Sister Cities Committee of Loveland. She has been a ember and served on the Board of the Loveland Elementary PTA and the Loveland Middle School PTSA. She has been a member of the Loveland Superintendent's Planning Commission. |
