1. What are your views regarding the need for public transportation in your community to promote access to employment throughout the region?
|
Answer from Ephriam D. Swafford:
I think there is a need for limited public transportation in Glendale. (A bus could run down Congress on Route 4.) I'm open for discussion - I would like to get the thoughts from the residents of Glendale.
Answer from Craig Wolf:
Not a significant problem or issue.
2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.
|
Answer from Craig Wolf:
No, oppose.
Answer from Ephriam D. Swafford:
I don't know, I don't have enough information to present an informed decision.
3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?
|
Answer from Ephriam D. Swafford:
Benefits - You can plan ahead and decide how to utilize the land to benefit the village/city.
Detriments - You impact creativity in your business community and may stifle its growth.
Answer from Craig Wolf:
Glendale has had this in place for over 50 years, "The Village Plan", and it is central to our ability to maintain the quaint and historic village.
