As the area becomes more densely populated, public transportation may be needed to support movement of the population to their places of employment.

I would favor such initiatives if they were fair, uniformly applied to all candidates, and encouraged more people to become involved in government.

I am opposed to the use of public funds, matching or otherwise, in political campaigns.
3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?

Land use planning is essential for "smart growth" and a key part of any zoning decision.
