Shall the office of City Council provide sewer service to
the area of Modesto Urban Area General Plan, provided the area is first
annexed to the City, which is described in the Sample Ballot as set forth in
Measure F?
The City has placed Measure F on the ballot for this Regular Municipal Election to seek the advice of the electorate with respect to whether the City Council should provide sewer service to that area of the Modesto Urban Area General Plan known as the "Pelandale/McHenry Comprehensive Planning District" which is more fully described in the measure. The outcome of the election on this measure will be canvassed and presented to the City Council. This election result will provide information to the City Council concerning the inclination of the voters of the City regarding the provision of sewer service to the "Pelandale/McHenry Comprehensive Planning District". However, the outcome of the election with respect to this measure, shall not bind the Council to act in a particular way with respect to either the provision or the nonprovision of sewer service to that area.
