Dear Friend, Neighbors and Voters:
- As the father of four children, ages 7 through 17, (two of whom are in the Novato school system) and a Community College graduate, I know that a quality, affordable, education is key to success. My experience as a Deputy District Attorney and a youth mentor has shown me how helping young people achieve educational goals makes a difference not only to them, but to the entire community.
- I'm committed to a WHOLE College serving the WHOLE community: Emeritus, Vocational Training, Community Ed and of course our university-boung youth. Both the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses should attract Marin's high school graduates. Currently, many of our students travel north to Santa Rosa Junior College. I am committed to seeing that College of Marin attract Marin's youth by providing a quality and complete educational opportunity and experience.
- I pledge to bring the Community's voice to OUR Community College. Your vote is important to us bringing a new, diverse and fresh perspective to the College Board.
