- Lead Judge, Siemens-Westinghouse Science & Tech. Competition, Western Region 1999

As a teacher and scientist at the university level for 20 years, my experience in education extends from mentoring students, to leading academic review committees, to working with the Lawrence Hall of Science on educational outreach. As a parent and Lafayette resident, it is my desire and responsibility to contribute to our community. My educational activities at many levels have provided a background of experience that will be valuable in working with other board and community members to provide a rich educational environment for our children.
