STATEMENT OF BELIEF AND PURPOSE
District 6 needs a voice to develop the kind of neighborhoods where we want to live. We need someone who will listen to us, speak for us, and remind us that we have the resources within our own community to help ourselves.
Lee Domann can provide that voice.
As your 6th District Councilman LEE DOMANN pledges:
To be a Voice for All of the People of his District.
To Return your phone calls.
To hold Regular Meetings to Listen and Learn from YOU.
To give Equal Attention to EVERY Neighborhood in the District.
To insure that Nashville City Services are the best they can be for US and Our District.
To cast Responsible Votes in Council while always keeping Our District's best interests in mind.
To consider All Sides of any issue brought before the Council.
As your 6th District Councilman LEE DOMANN will be:
A Bridge Builder between Us and our Neighbors.
A Bridge Builder between Us and City Hall.
A Bridge Builder Between Local and State Government.
A Bridge Builder between Us and those who presume to make decisions for and concerning us.

A PERSONAL STATEMENT FROM LEE
Comfortable, successful living is a health issue. In order for persons to enjoy the "unalienable rights" of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of "Happiness" (THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF THE THIRTEEN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA), they need optimum opportunity for physical, mental, and emotional health as individuals. Healthy individuals are found in healthy social orders. And the degree of health found in any social order, in turn, is greatly determined by the degree of health built into the government which upholds that order, whether it be at the international, federal, state, or local level.
In East Nashville we are blessed with a great deal of good health, with an opportunity for much more. Each of us should have a role in the life of our community, and each of us provides that role, even if we take no action as an individual citizen. As a citizen in your community, the role I want to play is that of being your Representative as Metro Councilman for the 6th District.
Since starting my campaign for Metro Council some time ago, many concerned citizens from East Nashville have helped me by jointly developing a true "people's platform" that would cover the issues and concerns of our District. During this time our campaign has gone door-to-door visiting personally with as many of you as our limited time would permit so that I could listen and learn of your hopes and dreams for East Nashville. I have discovered that East Nashville is an incredibly diverse and energetic community full of hope and wonderful ideas. Your hospitality and forthright honesty have given me great insight into the nature and basic needs of our District and of Nashville in general.
With those insights gained up front, before the election, I feel that I am prepared and informed enough to begin serving the needs of the 6th District. Despite this, I pledge that I shall not lose touch with my neighbors while serving as your Representative. It would be an honor to serve you.
