I was honored to have been elected four years ago as your South District Court Judge. Since then I have worked hard at both the local and state levels to repay your confidence in my abilities.

Selected to be presiding judge at South District Court and for all Snohomish County District Courts, I helped consolidate the various district courts into a unified system. Our Court joined the statewide defendant information system resulting in criminals being held more accountable for their activities. I also served as Chair of the Domestic Violence Sub-Committee.

My peers selected me to serve on the statewide judicial education committee and nominated me as a Dean of the Judicial College. The Judicial College is responsible for educating new judges from throughout the state.

A native of Washington, I received my Law and Bachelor of Arts Degrees at the University of Washington, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. I then served 11 years as a prosecutor so I understand the impact crime has on our communities. As a mother of two young children and an Edmonds resident, I remain dedicated to providing a safe community for your family and mine. Thank you for your continued trust and confidence.
