Political Philosophy for Robert Kenneth "Bob" DornanCandidate for |
The Fighter with a Heart: Robert K. Dornan Bob Dornan is like no other public servant. His wide ranging experiences, extensive historical knowledge, and his personal involvement in some of the most important issues of our time truly set him apart. Whether flying supersonic jet fighters in the Air Force, delivering aid to the suffering and starving in Africa, working for the release of America’s POWs in Vietnam, registering black voters in the South, or producing and hosting his own TV show, Bob Dornan has always believed that action speaks louder than words. It is these kinds of real-life experiences that have shaped Bob’s vision of America and made him an effective leader. As the son of a small business owner, he knows from personal experience how excessive taxes and regulation disrupts the lives of working families by destroying jobs, and job creation, and decreasing opportunity. Bob has witnessed first-hand the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform. And he knows that we will only remain at peace if our peacetime forces are strong, motivated and appreciated. At a time when the political establishment is finally discovering "family values," Bob Dornan has lived them. His family is the source of his strength – from his World War I hero father, Harry "the Rock," to his six granddaughters and five grandsons. That’s why he fights so hard for policies that strengthen and preserve families. Bob represents what is best about America. He combines the compassion and sense of justice rooted in his faith with the discipline, values, and dedication taught to him by his parents and reinforced by his dedicated teachers at school. The result is the fighter with a heart. A mighty big heart. |
