Full Biography for Barbara J. Vineyard

Trustee; Sierra Community College District; Area 1

Barbara Vineyard has been an active member of the Lincoln Community for 41 years. She has been a 4-H leader for that entire time, serving as a project leader, Assistant Community Leader, Community Leader, Placer County Council President and many terms as other officers. She represented Placer County on the Regional and State Leaders Councils, was Advisor to the 1986 Diamond Stars and named California 4-H Leader of the year in 1981. She served 10 years as a director of the California 4-H Foundation. Barbara also directed or facilitated many events and activities on the County, State and Regional levels.

Barbara was named Mrs. Community Service fy the Lincoln area Chamber of Commerce in 1980 for her 4-H work as well as PTA, Community Women's Club, High School Boosters, Community Hall director, Cemetery Board member, Sunday School Teacher and much more.

Barbara received the Western fair's Blue ribbon Award for volunteer work at the Placer county Fair exhibit areas in 1984. She is still volunteering countless hours each year in the exhibit building and with the Jr. Livestock Auction benefiting 4-H and FFA youth.
