Arguments For Measure R |
A community services district in Rio Linda-Elverta will give a smaller
more localized governmental entity to handle your water, park and
recreation needs.
The formation of a Community Services District can add other services with a vote of the people and additional revenue or taxes to support those services. The main benefit is a smaller more localized governmental entity and it is more cost effective by reducing overhead and duplication. As a more localized government the community benefits because of the single point of contact for residents and control agencies. Many issues need to be resolved before a Community Service District can become a reality, but the first step is a Yes Vote on this Advisory Vote question.
