Full Biography for Art Pedroza, Jr.

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Santa Ana Unified School District

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and the San Gabriel Valley. I attended public school and later graduated from a private Catholic High School, Don Bosco Technical Institute, in Rosemead. I went on to attend the University of California, at both the Los Angeles and Irvine Campuses. I also spent a couple years at California State University, at Fullerton.

I have lived in Santa Ana for over 7 years, with my wife and children. My wife, Camille, is a graduate of Santa Ana High School and a third generation resident of Santa Ana. My children attend John Muir Fundamental Elementary School, a public school in the Santa Ana Unified School District.

I am employed as a manager by a national alternative energy company, with a regional office located in Santa Ana. I have over ten years of experience in marketing and advertising, including Marketing Director positions with two Orange County law firms.

My community experience includes active participation in Santa Ana's Neighborhood Associations, as a member of the Executive Committee of Communication Linkages Forum. I am also a City Commissioner, as I serve as the Chairman of the Santa Ana Public Library Board.

I have also owned and managed businesses, and I am a member of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. I hope to bring the business community's resources to the Santa Ana Unified School District.
