A little more detailed personal information is provided here for the voters about Dr. Steven S. "Steve" Choi.Dear Voter: My name is Steven S. Choi and I am running for a seat on the Board of Irvine Unified School District. I am running to contribute for our schools and for the community with thirty years of experience in the field of education. I probably have the most unique experience and qualifications than any other candidate. Besides my teaching experience at the college level, I also provide afterschool academic teaching service to Irvine students from K through 12th. Therefore, I know the students' abilities or problems very thoroughly. To build better schools by raising our academic standards, our students need to strengthen their basic skills. The students cannot do it on their own. Our teachers and the policy makers should help them. We live in one of the best communities in the country. We can also build one of the best school districts in the country. I believe we can. Please help me get elected so that I can help our schools and children. Thank you.
