Full Biography for Dorsey Brause, Ph.D.

Incumbent Capistrano Unified School District Trustee and Mission Viejo resident Dorsey Brause received his Ph.D. degree from Ohio State University with a major in Public School Administration and minors in elementary Education, secondary education, and Sociology.

His experience includes service in the U.S. Navy; Newspaper Reporter; Civil Service Commission Investigator; Public School Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent; Community College Academic Dean; and Liberal Arts College President.

Community involvements include President, Rotary Club; President, Health Resources Council; President, Palonswa District of the Boy Scouts of America; President, PTA; President, Association of Colleges and Universities; Director, Chamber of Commerce; Director, American Family Association; and Director, Jackson Education Foundation.

Dorsey and his wife Doris have two children and six grandchildren. Dorsey is very active in their Casta del Sol community where you will find him playing volley ball and tennis with neighbors and friends.
