Where I See Laguna Schools in the New MillenniumBy Ali AbdolsalehiCandidate for Governing Board Member; Laguna Beach Unified School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
General and Specific Information Regarding Future Advancements within the Laguna Beach School DistrictGeneral Information:
1. My supporters consist of a large following of parents, community members, friends and family 1. My Campaign managers consist of University Professors and family members Specific Information: 2. At the moment our school district is not ready to take a financial blow from a voucher system. Although I agree with its underlying concept of fairness and increased competition within the schools, it will have to be something implemented sometime into the new millennium, when the district is Well into the Black. 3. I think a community service center should be available to students to answer any questions they may have. Whether it is regarding their homework, to relationships to family episodes, this will be a great addition to our district. 4. I think Family life is very important. The option for counseling or even classes in healthy family life should be made available for those students whom are interested. 5. I don't believe anything should take the place of the teaching of Evolution. Although, theological perspectives and historical issues regarding Creationism should be delved into in Literature classes. 6. I believe everyone deserves to be educated. If not people are not educated properly (regardless of documentation), we will have to support them through social programs and deal with an increase in crime. 7. I believe in equal actions. Whom ever is most qualified for the program, should inherit the right to subscribe. |
