Community and Civic Activities
- Served as chairman of "Tom Flores Day" and initiated the naming of the football stadium "The Tom Flores Stadium". This was a community celebration that honored the Oakland Raiders coach, a Sanger High graduate.

- Member of YMCA District Board of Directors.
- Served as chairman and co-chairman of the community Cancer Society Fund Drive.
- Served on block marches and other fund raising activities for heart, lun and children's diseases.
