Templin recognizes the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights contained in the First 10 Amendments to be the Supreme Law of the LandDIANE TEMPLIN for ATTORNEY GENERAL recognizes the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, 1st 10 Amendments to the Constitution, to be the Supreme Law of the Land and will do her best to uphold such RIGHTS FOR ALL CALIFORNIANS. Such RIGHTS can be summarized as:
1. Basic Rights-Religion and Expression Rights of Assembly, to Petition for Redress of Grievances, Freedom of the Press, Religion, Speech, Association The Liberty Amendment Text1. The Government of the U.S. shall not engage in any business, professional, commercial, financial or industrial enterprise except as specified in the Constitution.2. The Constitution or laws of any State, or the laws of the United States, shall not be subject to the terms of any foreign or domestic agreement which would abrogate this agreement. 3. The activities of the U.S. Government which violate the intent and purposes of this amendment shall, within a period of three years from the date of the ratification of this amendment, be liquidated and the properties and facilities affected shall be sold. 4. Three years after the ratification of this amendment, the 16th Article to the amendments to the Constitution (the Income Tax) of the United States shall stand repealed and thereafter Congress shall not levy taxes on personal incomes, estate and/or gifts. How much less would we have if we just followed the few principals which the founders of American viewed as the standards for the basis of our common law: Honor your father and mother. Don't murder. Don't steal Don't speak falsely against your neighbor. |
