Terri Cook Age: 39 Occupation: Administrative Assistant I was born and raised in Belmont, and am now a homeowner. My family has lived here since 1931. I have been involved in Belmont for almost three decades. In the early 1970's I worked on the successful effort to preserve Twin Pines Park and the defeat of a plan to build a massive double-decker overpass at Ralston and El Camino. I knew these issues were important for future generations of Belmont. I want to get this project under control and completed. * City Hall - another project out of control * San Juan Canyon Plan - Current plan is not adequate to protect the canyon environment * Sign Ordinance - Revise to reduce visual clutter * Downtown Plan completed for revitalization * Fire Station 14 - Rebuilding is essential * General Plan Citizen's Review Committee to develop a cohesive planfor Belmont * Develop Town Hall Meeting format for some City Council meetings * Traffic, traffic, traffic. I believe in ... * Doing PUBLIC business in PUBLIC and encouraging PUBLIC participation * Preserving our small town ambiance * Demanding honesty, integrity and accountability from our City Council * Ensuring "Pro-active" rather than "Re-active" government I'm involved, I care, I listen, I know Belmont, I will represent you. I would appreciate your vote. /s/ Terri Cook
