Occupation: Retired Deputy City Clerk

Education & Qualifications:

I am seeking a seat on San Bruno Council for a fresh viewpoint and to encourage
better deliberations by that body. Too often officials run unopposed, are
emboldened and show less respect for input by a spirited public.

Through experience as Deputy City Clerk, I have developed considerable insight
into City Hall decision-making.

Without fresh input, Council becomes cliquish and less responsive to innovative
requests. As a City employee, I always treated people with equal respect
regardless of their walk of life, nationality or section of town.

I am presently on San Bruno Beautification Committee and have in the past
worked on the Anti-Graffiti Committee and my husband and I continued this work
for years.

I am a long time member of the San Bruno Garden Club, proud mother of five,
grandmother of eight, owning our San Bruno home for over 25 years.

I am a high school graduate and have continued my education by taking courses
at Community Colleges. 

We need to open the doors of City Hall to greater participation by all of you.

I will do my very best to make us all proud to say "I'm a Citizen of San
Bruno." I ask for your vote.
