Occupation: Incumbent, Adult School Teacher

Education & Qualifications:

I seek re-election as School Board Member and offer my experience, knowledge,
ability and desire to provide the best possible educational opportunities to
all children within the Jefferson Elementary School District. Our children are
our future and they deserve the best.

My goals are to strive for excellence in education, improve and expand child
care and after-school programs, promote parent involvement, establish business
partnerships in education, obtain funding to meet student enrollment growth,
provide the best salaries for classified and certificated employees, retain
programs essential to the education of our children, improve test scores,
upgrade technology for students and employees, with the least amount of
financial burden on the taxpayers, and listen to the needs of students,
parents, staff and community.

Employment: Teacher-South San Francisco Adult School 1990-97, Owner-North
Peninsula Dance Academy 1984-97, Secretary- Daly City Fire Dept 1975-88,
Secretary- JESD 1969-75. Experience: JESD School Board Member 1981-97,
President, San Mateo County School Boards Assn 1994-96, JESD Personnel
Commissioner 1977-80, President-Westlake Catholic Women 1978-79, CSEA Officer
1974. Education: Grace Ball Secretarial College, Skyline College, San Jose
Community College, Master in Boardsmanship Academy. Married 35 years, 4
children and live in Broadmoor Village.
