Providing a quality education to all children in San Mateo and Foster City is of paramount importance. In today's environment, that requires looking beyond the books and materials used to teach children, and expanding our view of education to include facilities, techniques, class size, calendars, and school services. The community we live in will continue in it's diversity and needs. In education we must also adapt to the changing environment in order to continue to provide the highest quality education possible. To do this takes knowledge, experience, vision, courage and leadership.
