Official Ballot Statement

Jackie Donovan	Age: 47
Occupation: Office Manager

Education & Qualifications:

I come to you the voters and again ask for your vote. I have felt very honored
to have served you the last two terms. I feel I have served you well, I have
listened to you my constituents and most importantly I have worked hard to
ensure a better education for the students of Jefferson School District.

I am very proud that our district is building a new school without going to you
the taxpayers to finance it. The almost 7 million dollars is coming from the
sale of surplus properties. I will continue to look for ways to fund two new
gyms for our junior high schools.

Our test scores are improving, but of course there is always room for more
improvement. Our highly qualified teachers and the on-going training they
receive will continue to enhance students education.

We need to continue to watch our finances as we have done in the past. We need
to continue to look for innovative ways to serve our diverse population. These
are all challenges I look forward to.

I ask for your vote allowing me to continue to make positive things happen for
the students of the Jefferson School District.
