We have worked hard to promote economic development while preserving the integrity of our neighborhoods. I am confident we can continue to do so in the remaining in-fill develoment areas that our General Plan and LCP allow development to occur. Striking this balance has removed the acrimony of a decade ago, as the philosophies of our city have worked together to promite orderly, economic growth without adversely encroaching on our neighborhoods.
