In the past, Brisbane was put in the position to defend itself against outside interests. We should not jeopardize the small community atmosphere that we love and enjoy. We cannot ignore that times have changed and it is clear that adjacent areas are infringing on Brisbane's borders. Thus, to protect the future of Brisbane and it's residents, we can make sure that our city is managed properly and cost effectively. There should be enough reserve funds in our treasury to provide our community with a safe and secure environment. All Brisbane residents should enjoy common resources and connecting roads to promote harmony. Additionally, we need to pay close attention to San Francisco's plans for the 49er Stadium/ Mall Development and prevent any adverse impact on Brisbane.
