Traffic Relief

Palo Alto Try Transit Campaign-appointed coordinator of this continuing collaborative program to solve traffic problems.

Special Event Shuttle Program-founder of program which has carried thousands of riders to major Palo Alto events.

Downtown Parking Committee-working with business, government and residential representatives to solve parking and traffic problems.

Environmental Protection

Silicon Valley Pollution Prevention Center-Board Member, working with industry, government and environmental groups to improve water quality.

Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition-founding member, coordinating creek protection efforts.

Social Services/Housing

United Way-working with public and private agencies to assess and fund critical social service needs.

Housing Action Coalition-Committee Chair, educating government, industry and residents about housing needs and solutions.
